About TheReligionofPeace.com

Ever since 9/11, Americans and others have been asking, "Who are Muslims and why do they want to kill me?" Western leaders have responded by insisting that Islam is a Religion of Peace. This is a line that is parroted from some Islamic clerics (presumably the ones who aren't calling for Jihad). But what does this mean?

This is your one-stop site for all things terror related. There are articles, racist cartoons (how they portray Americans), “Jihad du Jour,” commentaries, pictures, “On this day in post 9/11 Islamic history,” and best of all - “The List” of Islamic terror attacks everywhere in the world. The DHS Strategic Plan -- Securing Our Homeland

The National Strategy for Homeland Security and the Homeland Security Act of 2002 served to mobilize and organize our nation to secure the homeland from terrorist attacks. This exceedingly complex mission requires a focused effort from our entire society if we are to be successful. To this end, one primary reason for the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security was to provide the unifying core for the vast national network of organizations and institutions involved in efforts to secure our nation. In order to better do this and to provide guidance to the 180,000 DHS men and women who work every day on this important task, the Department developed its own high-level strategic plan. The vision and mission statements, strategic goals and objectives provide the framework guiding the actions that make up the daily operations of the department. Terror Alerts

International Travel Information

Travel Warnings are issued when the State Department decides, based on all relevant information, to recommend that Americans avoid travel to a certain country. Countries where avoidance of travel is recommended will have Travel Warnings as well as Consular Information Sheets. You may also want to review specific country Background Notes.

Public Announcements are a means to disseminate information about terrorist threats and other relatively short-term and/or trans-national conditions posing significant risks to the security of American travelers. They (PAs) are made when there is a specific threat that cannot be countered. In the past, Public Announcements have been issued to deal with short-term coups, violence by terrorists and anniversary dates of specific terrorist events.
